अमृतोपस्तरणमसि ्वाहा
Om amrito pas-tara-ṇam-asi svaahaa.
O Lord, you are the very upastaranam basis/source of amrit immortality.

अमृतापिधानमसि ्वाहा
Om amritaa pi-dhaa-nam-asi svaahaa.
Lord, your amrit immortality is the apidhaanam shelter and cover.

त्यं शः श्रीर्मयि श्रीः श्रतां ्वाहा
Om sat-yam ya-shah sreer-ma-yi

sreeh sra-ya-taam svaahaa.3

May satyam truth, yashah fame, shreeh physical prosperity and shreeh intellectual prosperity shrayataam be well placed mayi in me.

वाङ्म ्येऽस्तु
 Om vaaṅg ma asye ‘stu.
May the vaak speech me aasye from within astu be always proper

ोर्मे प्राणोऽस्तु
Om nasor me praaṇo ‘stu.
May the praanah life force and air me nasoh through my nostrils, be astu perfect and purposeful.

अक्ष्णोर्मे क्षुर्तु
Om aksh-ṇor me chak-shur-astu. 
May chakshurastu there be perfect vision akshnor me through my eyes.

कर्णोर्मे श्रोत्रमस्तु
Om kar-ṇa-yor me shro-tram-astu. 
May karnayor me my ears be blessed with shrotramastu proper hearing

बाह्वोर्मे बलमस्तु
Om baah-vor me balam astu. 
May baahvorme my arms always have balamastu adequate strength.

ऊर्वोर्मे ओजोऽस्तु
Om oorvor ma ojo ‘stu. 
May oorvor me my thighs have ojo-astu purposeful strength

अरिष्टानि मेऽङ्गानि
तनूस्तन्वा मे ्तु

Om ariṣh-ṭaa-ni me’ṅgaani

tanoos tanvaa me saha santu. 
(sprinkle all over)
May arishtaani health be in me angaani my limbs of tanoostanwaa my body and within my body (tissues etc) always saha santu with proper purpose

  1. for each mantra, take a little water in the right palm and sip at the end of the mantra
  2. Acharya Pt. Budhram Mahadeo, CCH: “O Lord, water washes and cleanses our outer bodies and outer selves. So too, may this amrita (nectar-like) water serve to symbolically cleanse my inner self. May the amrita of your blessings cleanse my mind.”

  4. With water in the palm of the left hand, use the middle & ring finger of the right hand to touch the parts of the body
