Gange cha yamune chaiva
गङ्गे च यमुने चैव गोदावरि सरस्वति।
नर्मदे सिन्धु कावेरि जलेऽस्मिन् संनिधिं कुरु॥
(आह्निकसूत्रावलि १०६)
Gaǹge cha yamune chaiva
godaavari sarasvati.
Narmade sindhu kaaveri
jale-asmin sannidhim kuru.
(Ahnik Sutraavali v 106)
May the same spiritual and healing powers of the Ganges, Yamuna, Godavari, Sarasvati, Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri rivers be within these waters and infuse similar holiness for my purification and health.
Note: The 7 holy ancient rivers are mentioned in this verse.
While rivers typically flow ceaseless and the water cycle refreshes and purify the waters, the ancient holy rivers have been historically known for their cleansing and holy attributes. These prayers seek to enrich the waters at hand in a similar manner as the holy rivers. Where there is positive intent to purify and become holy, then it can happen.
Govindeti sadaa snaanam
गोविन्देति सदा स्नानं गोविन्देति सदा जपः ।
गोविन्देति सदा ध्यानं सदा गोविन्दकीर्तनम् ॥ ४७॥
(पाण्डवगीता ४७)
Govindeti sadaa snaanam

Govindeti sadaa dhyaanam
sadaa govinda-keertanam.

Remember God even while bathing; Repeat his name constantly; Meditate on him and Sing his praise.
