Ati dhanyavaad parmeshvar kaa ye sundar avasar aayaa
hai janam-divas isa baalak kaa jo utsav aaj manaayaa hai.
Eeshvar-vishvaasee satyavaadee vedo kaa ye anuyaayee ho
Din-raat phale phoole nirog ho sundar iskee kaayaa ho.
Vishvaano kaa sammaan kare guru maat-pitaa kaa sevak ho
Duniyo ke dukh door kare jo vedo ne batlaayaa hai
Sadgrantha paṛhe sadaacharaṇ kare jeevan me jyotee jagaa rahe
Yashaa keerti amar hove iskee aave na maan mad maayaa hai
Shubh guṇ sampann bane baalak hai aasheervaad yahee sabkaa
Sabko sukhdaayak sadaa rahe jo geet veda ne gaayaa hai.

Be always in the company of the wise; be always devoted to your parents. Always help the needy. This is the advice of the Vedas.
