Buraa-i-yò ko kabhee jeevan mè apanaanaa nahee chaahiye
Ye meeṭhee jahar hotaa hai, ise khaanaa nahee chaahiye
Buree sangat jahaa dekho vahaa jaane se sharamaao
Jahaa satsang hotaa ho too sharmaanaa nahee chaahiye
Lage vriksho par phal jio hee jhuke sab ḍaaliyaa unkee
Yahaa sampati ko paakar ke, itaraanaa nahee chaahiye
Agar kuchh de nahee sakte to kah do maaf kar baabaa
Magar dutkaar ke maangate ko louṭaanaa nahee chaahiye
Do not let evil and sinful actions control your life. Sins are like sweet poison, they should never be imbibed or contemplated.
Feel remorseful and ashamed to be in sinful places; be proud to be in places of worship.
Be humble with your possessions. Do not have false pride. Be like the tree – the more laden it is with fruits, the lower it bows down.
If asked for help, never give insult. It is better to not give anything than to give with insults and hate.
