Tere liye pyaasaa thaa, pyaasaa hai pyaasaa hee rahegaa.

Door door tak pahele maayaa man me hu-ee andhere
Too hi bataade kab aaye, man me savere
Too hee sab rakhwaalaa hai,
phir too hee man ki dwaaraa hai
Mai chooroo na jaawo
Daataa hoo sab janma manush kaa, karhee te sab hotaa
Jeev ko yaj tum Prabhoo phir, rakho putra tumhaaraa
Paar karo tab naiyaa meraa, kaanpe rahe hai badana mera
Mai chooroo na jaawo
Paap ki gathree doway phirtaa, thak gayee paaw hamaraa
Too is bhojha uthaade bhagawan, lejaa ham kinaaraa
Dil me jyoti jalaade swamin, tum hee rakshaa karane waale
Mai chooroo na jaawo
O Lord, you are ever-existent in my mind. I thirst and crave for the knowledge of you. I sing to you and will continue to sing (my love) to you.
My mind travels far (door-door) and this illusion (maya) always keeps my mind in darkness. Tell me when my mind will become bright, Oh when will the morning dawn in my mind. You are the caretaker and you are the doorway to my mind. Do not leave me behind.
Lord, you are the giver of life. Everything is achieved through you. Life is your gift and you protect our life. Oh, my body is trembling with fear when I look ahead and see the ocean-like span of life ahead of me. Please do not leave me behind.
Fetching this burden of sins all over makes me tired. Remove this burden and place me on the shore of life. Brighten my heart. O Lord, protect my mind, don’t leave me behind.
