Saat bhaȧvare jisse paṛee
vohee saath nibhaayegee
Par naaree kee preet kaam
kitne din aayegee
Bhool se samjhaa jisko toone
amrit kee pyaalee
Vo to madiraa hai tujhko
behkaa dene waalee
Madiraa gangaa kee paavantaa
kahaȧ se laayegee
Do praaṇo kaa bandhan hai
do din kee nahee ye baat
Saat bhaȧvaro kaa matlab hai
saat janam kaa saath
Seetaa jab janmegee Raam ko
byaahee jaayegee
Sab ke saamne haath thaamkar
jise diyaa dhokhaa
Us par kyaa beetee hogee,
toone ye nahee sochaa
Tarap kisee kee tujhe zindagee
bhar taṛpaayegee
The seven circumambulations within the wedding vows resolve and reaffirm the couple’s love and loyalty to each other. But, if one undertakes infidelity, how long will that unfaithful relationship last?
Someone who falls into the trap of unfaithfulness, unfortunately, views the lure of infidelity as like nectar. Instead, it is just an intoxication that will not last. Such seducing relationships will never be permanent. Please remain faithful to each other. Remember there is only one Ganges River.
The seven circumambulations are like seven lifetimes. It is our choice of lifestyle that can shatter that in a very short time. Remember, Sitaa will always be married to Raam.
When we cheat and hold other people’s hands, we do not think for a moment what the other person may be going through. Be aware or else someone else may also torment you for the rest of your life.
