Sab pyaar kee baate karte hai

Vafaa yeh dekh lee
Patthar jigar zalim zamaane kee
Kasam khaayee hai ab humne
Kisee se dil lagaane ke

Sab pyaar kee baate karte hai
Par karnaa aata pyaar nahee
Hai matlab kee duniyaa saaree
Yahaa koee kisee ka yaar nahee
Kisee ko sachaa pyaar nahee

Sukh mė sab aa aa kar apne
Rishte naate hai batlaate
Bure dinȯ mė dekhaa hamne
Aȧkh bachaa kar hai jaate
Ṭhokar khaa kar sambhalne vaale
Jeet hai teree haar nahee
Hai matlab kee duniyaa saaree
Yahaa koee kisee ka yaar nahee
Kisee ko sachaa pyaar nahee

Ai bande bhagvaan se ḍar
Insaan se mat ḍar
Muhar lagee hai uskee tere
Hak ke daane daane par
Uskee marzee binaa tere
Chubh saktaa koee khaar nahee
Hai matlab kee duniyaa saaree
Yahaa koee kisee ka yaar nahee
Kisee ko sachaa pyaar nahee

Examining the qualities of man’s stonelike heart, I resolve to avoid further contact with mankind.

No one possesses real love. Everyone uses sweet words without any underlying love. But, the whole world today is filled with selfishness. No one loves anyone else (other than himself).

At times of happiness, everyone is a friend and relative but at times of sorrow, all turn away. When you have problems, and you overcome them, the world does not care – it is selfish. Know that those who stumble are actually victorious and are neither victims nor defeated.

O friend, be afraid only of God. Do not be afraid of man. Every word of God is gem-like. God’s presence is stamped into every fiber of your being. Without His presence, nothing is right. No poison can sting you without his will, no weapon can prosper without his will.

Matlabi Duniya (1961); Mukesh
