आकाश पे बैठा हुआ लिखता है वो तक़दीर
किस रंग से जाने बने जीवन की तस्वीर
आकाश पे बैठा हुआ लिखता है वो तक़दीर
जिसको ख़ुशी से जीना हो, ये बात वो जान ले
मर्ज़ी हो जो भगवान की हँस के उसे मान ले, मान ले
जिस से बने ग़म भी ख़ुशी है ये वही तदबीर
आकाश पे बैठा हुआ लिखता है वो तक़दीर
दो रोज़ की ये ज़िंदगी किस चीज़ का नाम है?
हर एक सुबह है बेख़बर, अनजान हर शाम है, शाम है
किसको पता टूटे कहाँ साँसों की ज़ंजीर
आकाश पे बैठा हुआ लिखता है वो तक़दीर
How can one know what their dreams mean? That great heavenly God creates our fate and destiny (based on our actions), so, who can relate to the image that life will create?
Those who want to live happily must know that God’s will be done, we cannot act contrary to His will. So, obey his will with joy and contentment and that effort will turn sorrow into joy.
This thing called life is for a short time only. We never know what a new morning or evening can unfold to us. Who knows when the chain of breath can be broken?
