In each moment of time – you reside in my heart. There is a saying, “Life is so sweet that we thirst for it”. (So, I thirst for you).
Every evening your image flutters on my eyelids and your presence is felt all around. Every night you come with companions. I draw my breath when your sweetness approaches. Every breath is filled with you – this gives me great happiness. My heart beats (dil ke dhadkan) as though it is singing your melody.
Oh why do I love you so much? I get lost in thoughts of you. But I am now determined to be with you. Only that person who experiences this type of emotion can understand my feelings. It would appear as though you were also born here in this entangled world.
Only yesterday I seemed to have had a glimpse of you nearby. I heard the sounds of your voice. I feel as if I am tied to your great bond. What kind of bond is this? What dream is this? I get crazy (begaane) without you. I think of you in each and every place.
