प्रभु का नाम जो उचारा नहीं
होगा तेरा छुटकारा नहीं
मानस का तो, सुंदर जीवन,
मिलेगा तुझे दोबारा नहीं
क्यों करता है मनमानी
चार दिन तेरी जिंदगानी
तज अभिमान को भज भगवान को
भूल नहीं याद रख तु उसको हर घड़ी
कर ले तू सबसे भलाई
मत कर किसी से बुराई
करेगा पाप तु, पाएगा ताप तु
मौत की घड़ी को याद रख तु हर घड़ी
सबमें जगे प्रभु की ज्योति
एक माला के सब मोटी
सब में ऐ “सेवक”, बसता है ईश्वर
देख ले तू हर में उस हर को हर घरी
Tune – Mana janab ne pukaara nahi
Those who do not sing God’s praises cannot attain release from bondage. We are human, enjoying the sweetness of life, however, we do not know if we will merit another human body again.
Why follow the mind when life lasts for only a few days? Surrender the ego and chant God’s name. Do not forget the Almighty.
Do good to all; do no harm to anyone or anything. Wrong actions only bring you sin – which in turn causes you suffering. Do every action with the knowledge that death can come at any time.
God’s light is in all. Each person is like a pearl in a garland. God is in everyone – and everyone is in God. See the presence of God all over.
