O Man, know that you can fulfill the purpose of your human life by being devoted to God, living a righteous lifestyle, and following the teachings of the Vedas.

We belong to the Master, the Creator who created the entire world. Let us realize that the sweet nectar of constant devotion can purify your soul. Let us light the divine light of devotion in the temple of the mind and ensure that our inner temple is bright with devotion.

None of our possessions or attachments in life can accompany us after death. They are all temporary. Not brother, sister, friend, wealth, or possession – none can go with us. The ideal righteous lifestyle along with the embrace of truth will ensure that we do not fall victim to lust and material things. Speak the truth, disassociate from bad company, and maintain a righteous lifestyle.

Remember that lust, anger, greed, and jealousy can mislead you at every juncture of life. We have to focus our lives on avoiding these pitfalls. Let us practice self-control of our senses and body. Let us control the mind so that alongside the control of the senses we will not risk sinking midstream into the ocean of life but instead we can successfully and safely cross over this life to God’s blessed design.
