मेरा दीपक जग जग जल
जग जग प्रकाश फैलाये

इतना मांगु भगवान
आये आंधी या तूफ़ान
ये ज्योत न बुझने पाये
युग युग प्रकाश फैलाये

मेरे नैनो का ये तारा
मेरे जीवन का उजियारा
मुझे कमल खोल मुस्काये
युग युग प्रकाश फैलाये

मेरे मोहन मधुए सलोना
मेरा टूट न जाये खिलौना
तुम दीन बन्धु कहलाये

My child, my light. May my light always glow and spread light in my family and community.

Let no storm or flood; no adversity ever blow my light out. May no challenge ever overcome my child. This is all I ask for O Lord.

My child is the light of my eye, the light of my life. May his face always radiate with a smile like the lotus flower.

Lord, you are the friend of the weak and downtrodden, my child is the thrill of my heart. He is pure beauty. I pray to you O lord. My this light, this beauty never be broken.
