समय सुहाना बन मस्ताना गुण ईश्वर के गाना
मन रुपी मंदिर के अन्दर जीवन ज्योत जगाना
परम पिता से प्यार कर. शुद्ध आचार विचार कर
इन्द्रियों को वश में कर के मन अपने को मार कर
यम-नियम का पालन कर के मुक्ति पद को पाना
निर्धन को न कभी सत्ता दुनिया के दुःख दर्द मिटा
हीरा जनम अमोलक तेरा मिटटी में न इसे मिला
सुखो का भंडार वही है, शरण उसी की आना
नन्दलाल न उसे भूला जीवन वेदानुसार बना
संध्या सत्संग वेदपाठ कर आत्मा अपनी शुद्ध बना
भाई बंधू बेटा पतनी, संग किसे है जाना
Time is very precious. Waste it not, O man. Become intoxicated with the singing of God’s praises. In your mind’s temple, kindle God’s devotion.
Develop love for God. Develop good habits. Control your mind and your organs. Obey the laws of God and you will make your emancipation right.
Do not add suffering to the poor. Your birth as is human is like a diamond (gift), why mix it with dirt (of bad habits). O man, God is the storehouse of happiness. Come to him for protection.
Do not forget these instructions, O Man. Live according to the Vedas. Do your Sandhya and commune with God. Keep good company, read the Veda and in so doing, make your soul pure. O man, your brother, son, or wife – none will go with you. Do not be attached.
