For this Sanksaara, the Priest sits in the West, facing East. The Husband and wife sit South facing North, with the wife on the husband’s right side.

Inviting the Priest to lead the Yajya
The priest replies:
ॐ सीदामि।
Om see-daa-mi.
By the Grace of God, I accept this noble duty.
The priest says:
वृतोऽस्मि।
Vṛito-‘smi.
