Chalo ek baar phir se, ajnabee ban jaayè ham dono
Na mài tumse koee ummeed rakhòò dilnavaazee kee
Na tum meree taraf dekho ghalat andaaz nazarò se
Na mere dil ki dhaṛkan laṛkhaṛaaye meree baatò mè
Na zaahir ho tumhaari kashm-kash ka raaz nazarò se
Tumhè bhee koee uljhan roktee hai pesh-qadmee se
Mujhe bhee log kahte hai kee ye jalve paraaye hai
Mere hamraah bhee rusvaayiàà hai mere maazii kee
Tumhaare saath bhee guzrii huee raatò ke saaye hai
Taarruf rog ho jaaye to usko bhoolnaa bahtar
Taalluq bojh ban jaaye to usko toṛnaa achhaa
Voh afsaana jise anjaam tak laanaa na ho mumkin
Ese ek khoobsuurat moṛ de kar chhoṛ achhaa
It is time that we become strangers again.
I will have no compassion for you and you should not give me your deceptive glance. My heart will no longer ache when I speak and you will not reveal how tormented you may be.

When a relationship becomes painful it is best to forget it. When a relationship becomes a burden, it is best to end it. If a story has no good conclusion it is best to give it a beautiful twist and leave it be.
