Chalo prabhu kee nagariyaa, duniyaa se naataa toṛke
Teraa koyee nahee saathee, vaidik dharma se naataa joṛle
Ek din bhaiyyaa is duniyaa se paregaa sabko jaanaa
Kauṛee kauṛee jamaa kiyaa sab chhoṛ ke maal khazaanaa
Yahaa, ko-ee na rehegaa maat pitaa se naataa joṛke
Pet pakaṛ kar rowe maiyyaa, baah pakaṛ ke bhaiyyaa
Paav pakar ke naaree rowe haay mere daiyyaa maiyyaa
Kahaa, jaate ho akele saiyyaa, laal chunariyaa chhoṛke
Darwaaze tak patnee saathee, marghat tak sut pyaara
Chitaa kale take premee saathee, sab kar jaay kinaaraa
Sab ant ke baratee, vaidik dharma se naataa joṛle
Mutthee baandhe janam liyaa thaa, haath khol kar jaanaa
Kothee banglaa mahal ataaree, zare se bharaa khazaanaa
Teraa rahe na sanghaatee, vaidik dharma se naataa joṛle
Let’s prepare for the place of God by making a true connection through the teachings of Vedic Dharma. Break the stranglehold that the material world has on you.
One day friends, this world will be dropped behind and we shall go. The wealth we accumulated and the properties we own will all remain when we leave. Not even a relationship with your parents will be possible.
(After death) Mother grasps the chest and cries, brothers and friends hold on to the shoulder in sadness, the wife clings to the feet and wails ‘Where are you going, my darling? What about our marriage vows and our loving bond?
In the end, the wife will accompany the dead body to the door and the beloved ones also go to the crematorium. They will look at the fire and the burning of the body, but all will stand away at the confines of the cremation. And, then even the final funeral procession will end, that is the teaching of Vedic Dharma.
We came into the world with closed fists but will depart with hands relaxed and wide open. The wealth and properties, associations, and affiliations will all be left behind. This is the law taught by Vedic Dharma.
