Koee na saathee teraa saath nibhaa-e-gaa.

Yam doot pakar ke legaa, ḍaalenge haath kariyaa
Kaun chhut waawegaa, koee…
Kyo kehtaa meraa meraa, ye chiṛiyaa rain baseraa
Yahaa koee na rehne paataa, ye chaar dino kaa ḍeraa
Hàs ur jaayegaa, koee…
Is prabhu sharaṇ me nishidin tu preet lagaale bande
Ye kaṭ jaayenge tere janma maran ke phanḍe
Paar ho jaayegaa, koee…
Is pet bharan kee khaatir, kyo paap kamaataa nishidin
Shamshaan me lakree dharke teri aag lagegee jis din
Khaak ho jaayegaa, koee…
When it is time to leave this world, no one accompanies us. We go alone.
During our lifetime, we may not have done worship; we may not have kept good company. When death calls for you, there is no exemption.
Why do we get entangled in mine, mine, all the accumulation when this world is temporary? Our lifetime is finite, it will end one day.
Break the attachment to the world by establishing your relationship with God. Be liberated from the world through God.
We commit sins in the world with the excuse of securing the necessities of life and one day the same body that we worked for will be reduced to ashes.
