Meraa bas chale to dil cheer ke dikhaa doo
Dauṛ rahaa hài saath lahoo ke, pyaar teraa nas nas mè

What does the heart do when one falls in love? From where does someone fall in love with someone else? The customs and rules of the world are like tall walls; there is nothing in our control.
Like clouds coming over a mountain; like waves rising in the ocean; so our gaze was struck on one another’s face. No custom and rule in all the world can stop the effect of this gaze. It is not in our control.
