Chalti chaki dekh ke, diya kabir roi
Do paatan ke beech me, sabhe becha na koi
Do din kaa jag me melaa,
sab chalaa chalee kaa khelaa
Koee chalaa gayaa koee jaave jee
Koee gathree baandh sidhaave jee
Koee kharaa taiyyaar akelaa,
sab chalaa chalee ka khelaa
Dhan laakh karor kamaayaa jee
Kar jhooth kapat chhal maayaa jee
Sang chale na ik bhi dhelaa,
sab chalaa chalee kaa khelaa
Kar bhajan prabhu kaa pyaaraa jee
Koee ant sahaayak naayaa jee
Kahe Dayaanand sun chelaa, sab
chalaa chale kaa khelaa
Looking at how we are caught between the crushing of (stones of life), Kabir weeps at the futility that perishes under such an illusion.
This world is like a very short mela (fair/concert) in which we come, meet, and then depart.
Some have gone, some are going, some stand aside with readiness while some do not seem aware of having to leave. One day we all have to walk away.
The accumulation of wealth from working and the accumulation of lies and fraudulent beliefs do not accompany us.
Listen O descendants (disciples) of Rishi Dayanand, sing the loving praises of God, He is your true aide in life. When you depart you depart alone, only God can be with you.
