Duniya banane waale

Kaahe ko duniyaa banaayee
tune kahe ko duniyaa banaayee
Kaahe banaaye tune maat̀i ke putale
Dhartee ye pyaree pyaree mukhde ye ujale
Kahe banaayaa toone duniyaa kaa khelaa
Kahe banaayaa toone duniyaa kaa khelaa
Jisame lagaayaa jawaanee kaa melaa
Gup-chup tamashaa dekhe waah re teree khudaaee
Kahe ko duniyaa banaaee toone
Too bhee to taṛpa hogaa man ko banaa kar
Toofaan ye pyaar kaa man mè chhupaa kar
Koee chhavi to hogee ankho mè teree
Koee chhavi to hogee ankho mè teree
Aàsoo bheechhalke honge palko se teree
Bol kya soojhee tujhko kaahe ko preet jagaaee
Kahe ko duniyaa banayee toone….
Preet banaake toone jeena sikhaayaa
Hasnaa sikhaayaa, ronaa sikhaayaa
Jeevan ke path par meet milaaye
Jeevan ke path par meet milaaye
Meet milake toone sapne jagaaye
Sapne jagaa ke toone kaahe ko de dee judaaee
Kahe ko duniyaa banaayee toone…
O maker of the world, why have you made this world? What was in Your universal mind when You made this world?
Why have you made statues of clay? This lovely earth and the shining faces? Why have you made this play called Life in which you have held this fair of youth? And, you sit and observe the fun quietly – such is your greatness. Why have you made this world?
You must have also suffered after making this heart; after hiding this storm of love in the heart. There must be some image/reflection in your eyes; some tears must have also fallen from your eyes. Tell me what made you do it? Why have you awakened love? Why have you made this world?
You created love and taught us to live. You have taught us to laugh and to cry. You allowed us to meet friends on the path of life and awakened our dreams. After awakening such dreams, why did you give us separation? Why have you made this world?
