Duniyaa mè aakar, duniyaa ke bande,
Parmeshvar ko, bhool na jaanaa
Rachnaa prabhu ko yaad sadaa hee,
viṣhayo me hargiz man naa lagaanaa
Paapò se jeevan apanaa bachaavo,
dukhiyo kee sevaa me man ko lagaanaa
Ved paṛo auro ko paṛaavo,
dharma kee raah se pag na haṭaanaa
Kaam kisee ke aataa nahee jo,
dukhiyo ke dukhṛe miṛaanaa nahee jo
Bhooke ko bhojan khilaataa nahee jo,
Bekaar hai cholaa maanav kaa paanaa
Ant samaya “nandlaal” jo aaye,
naino se ro ro neer banaye
Nikalegaa muha se, tere hay hay,
apnaa bhee ho jaayegaa phir begaanaa
O men, having come into this world, do not occupy your mind with lust. Fill your mind with God; remember Him always.
Save your life from sinful actions, perform seva, that is, service (and good actions). Read and teach the Vedas (scriptures). Do not stray from the righteous path.
Those who do not help others or who do not feed the hungry and others who are suffering – those persons are useless (and a waste of human life).
If you do not help others, when your end comes, you will cry – and no one will be there to help you.
