Jis dagar ko Dayaanand bataa ke gaye
Wo dagar aariyo ab bhulaanaa nahee
Jo charaṇ barhgaye satya path ke liye
Wo charaṇ tumko peechhe hataanaa nahee
Wo chalaa ghar ke bandhan ko chhor ke
Pyaar jananee pitaa bandhu se toṛ ke
Kabhee dekhaa nahee jisne mukh moṛ ke
Saaraa jeevan diyaa desh hit ke liye
Aariyo riṇ kyaa uskaa chukaanaa nahee
Aandhee toofaano se ghab raayaa nahee
Golee seene lagee dagmagaayaa nahee
Ik chhuraa khaagayaa pag hataayaa nahee
Jis chaman ke liye rakt apnaa diyaa
Us chaman ko hai patjhar banaanaa nahee
Zindagee me kaee baar vish bhee piyaa
Desh hit ko maraa desh hit ko jiyaa
Sar museebat sahee ap naa tan man diyaa
Pag hataayaa nahee satya ke maarg se
Wo kahaanee kyaa Raaghav sunaanaa nahee

The Maharishi sacrificed home, comfort, and family for the sake of truth. He let got the love of parents and friends in his quest and he focused on the upliftment of his people and country. Our gratitude to the Maharishi. let us maintain his work.
He was never bothered by storms and never wavered in the face of attacks and bodily harm. In the face of being stabbed and shot, he persevered. He gave his blood so that the lush garden of the scriptures can be maintained for us today. Let us not allow his sacrifice to falter.
Many times he was poisoned but he took it all and yet uplifted the world. The truth of the Vedas and the reformation of society was his mission for which he died. What child of this noble tradition of ours would not heed this sacrifice and maintain Rishi’s work!
