Jinke hriday shree raam base,
tin aur ko naam liyo naa liyo
Koi maange kanchan see kaaya,
koee maang rahaa prabhu se maayaa
Koee punya kare koee daan kare,
koee daan kaa roj bakhaan kare
Jin kanya dhan ko daan diyo,
un aur ko daan diyo na diyo
Koee ghar mè baitha naman kare,
koee hari mandir mè bhajan kare
Koee gangaa yamunaa snaan kare,
koee kaashee jaake dhyaan dhare
Jin maat pitaa kee sevaa kee,
un teerath snaan kiyo naa kiyo
With Sri Raam firmly in our hearts, we need no other protection.
Some ask the Lord for wealth. Some even ask for the impossible, some distribute gifts of various kinds without attachments while some boast about their charity. And, some even traffic in persons. But, those who gave their hearts to the Lord are the greatest donors.
Some meditate at home and some sing His name in the mandirs. Some take baths in the holy rivers while some undertake pilgrimages. But, Sri Raam teaches that the greatest pilgrimage is the selfless service to parents. Such service is equivalent to having God within oneself.
जिनके whose हृदय heart श्री राम lord rama बसे settled उन therein और and नाम name लियो give ना कोई मांगे ask कंचन gold, precious काया body, physique मांग ask प्रभु god माया illusion पुण्य good, virtue दान charity रोज daily, frequently बखान praise कन्या youn girl धन wealth घर house बैठा sit नमन bow हरि मंदिर gd’s temple भजन songs स्नान bathe काशी kashi जाके going ध्यान meditation धरे hold मात पिता parents सेवा servants तीर्थ pilgrimage स्नान bathe
