Sometimes the thought comes into my heart, that you were made just for me. As though you were living somewhere among the stars up until now, and you were called to the earth just for me.
Sometimes the thought comes into my heart, that this body and these eyes are my sanctuary, and that the shadows of this thick hair are my very mind, and these lips and this lap are my conviction.
Sometimes the thought comes into my heart, that the music of weddings is playing around us, and that, on the night of the wedding, I lift the bridal veil for you, and you hide your shame in my arms.
