Naam ka deep jalaa le andheraa
pal bhar mė miṭ jaaye
Jis jyoti se jag ujiyaaraa
Voh hai eeshvar praaṇ piyaaraa
Usme manvaa ramaa le
Satsangat se lau lag jaatee
Man ko banaa le prem kee baatee
Gyaan kee jyot jalaale
Bhajan se goonje man kaa mandir
Soorat samaadhee lag jaye phir
Sharaṇ hoye aajmale
Light the flame of the name of God, And darkness will immediately vanish.
The light which illumines the whole world, That light is God, and is more loved than life. In that light, immerse your mind completely.
Through good company, you get help to concentrate on His name. Make your mind into the wick of Love. and light the lamp of knowledge, of God
Let the temple of your mind be reverberating with singing. God’s praises. Be oblivious of yourself in deep meditation. Make yourself prostrated at His feet, and attain Him.
