Peeyoosh kaa pyaalaa tere haatho se piyaa hai

O Maharishi Dayanand, the one who knows the Vedas, please come to us from wherever you are hidden.
The world was suffering from a lack of true knowledge before you came to it. The world was spiritually and morally bankrupt. You brought the light of Vedic Wisdom and conquered the prevailing darkness. The world will always remember you fondly for your gift of the light of the Divine Vedas.
You were the extraordinary and distinct One who was the darling of India and the whole world. You are the ocean of mercy and kindness for giving us the path of wisdom. You discovered the ambrosia of the Vedas and have shared that nectar to the world.
The poison that took your body could not remove your good life and lessons. You are now within our very hearts because as you departed this world you kindled an eternal light for the entire world. Your life truly defined the meaning of human life. If anyone ever truly lived, it was you, O Maharishi.
