O Maharishi Dayanand, the path you embarked on when you came into this world is amazing and wonderful. On that historic Shivratri observance, while everyone else was asleep, you were awakened with miraculous Divine inspiration.
From your most tender age, you were detached from material things. Your mind was differently focused while your family talked of your marriage. Instead of the comfort of home and marriage, you choose the discovery of God and you leave your home.
You developed the wonderful focus of searching for divine truth. With this intense zeal, you mastered Sanskrit grammar, logic, and sciences at the feet of Swami Virjanand Dandee.
O Maharishi, even at the end when you were suffering the pain of the world’s poison and attacks you did not allow the blisters and pain to overcome you. Your physical, mental, and spiritual might was shining as was your wonderfully forgiving and benign smile.
