Sambhaalo bigaree dashaa hamaree
Na ham me bal hal na ham me shakti

Tumhaare dar ke hal ham bhikhaaree
Bhale jo hai ham to hai tumhaare
Bure jo hai ham to hai tumhaare
Tumhaare ho kar bhee ham dukhaaree
Jo turn ho swaamee to ham hai sevak
Jo turn pitaa ho to ham hal baalak
Jo turn ho ṭhaakur to ham pujaaree
Pradaan kardo mahaan shakti
Bharo hamaare me jyatin bhakti
Tabhee kahaaoge taaphaaree
We come to your shelter O Master. Please show your mercy so that our debilitating and deteriorating conditions of life can be overcome.
We are beggars at your door, O dear Lord. we have neither strength nor power without your grace. We have nothing, not even our ability to be devoted without your mercy.
Lord, in good and bad we are your servants. With all the good we do we are yours, and even the mistakes we make, we are still yours. Even with our pain, sadness, or sins, we still come to you O Lord.
You are the master, we are the servants. You are our father, we are your children. You are the chief, the master, the owner of everything and we are your humble devotees. Please have mercy on us.
Please grant us wisdom O Lord. Bless us with strength and power to do good. Let our devotion and worship remain steadfast. O remover of sorrow, please keep us far away from sorrow and pain.
