This world, this congregation, these are not of my use or for my purpose.
Who would care to listen to the story of my restless heart? After all, I am diminishing into death. Some things that I wish to forget just refuse to be forgotten. And it is all useless, after all, what is the worth of a glorious funeral? It is nothing.
I have no knowledge of where you are or what is happening with you. Some enemies are treated better than this. While those who search for God may find Him, I still await a glimpse of my beloved.
Being in the wilderness still gave me no peace of mind. Nothing can make me forget the sorrow that I feel within. My heart continues to long for a world that I cannot understand, a world of love. Now, after losing what was won, I am searching for that lost friend.
I feel like someone is shedding tears for me. How can I not go to them? Someone is calling me, how can I not go? Should I mend a broken heart or break all bonds? O mountain, open up a pathway, O thorns, stay behind me.
