Ye duniyaa hai ajab tamaashaa,
kahaa hai aashaa kahee niraashaa
Kisee ke mukh par muskaane hai,
parhe ko ee aasoo kee bhaashaa
Pagle nish kaam kiye jaa, bas Om ka naam liye jaa
Kahaa bhatak mat jaanaa path par,
rehnaa atal karam ke vrat par
Dukhiyaaro ke dukh dardo ko,
detaa chal meethaa meethaa sab
Jeewan abhiraam kiye jaa, bas Om ka naam liye jaa
Just as the sun and moon shine through the passage of time, so too your name can shine. Keep chanting God’s name, Om, and continue your good actions.
We experience hope as well as despair in this world. Some are happy while some are sad. Do not let it distract you from continuing to say God’s name and continuing to do good.
Be firm with your actions; do not stray from your path of helping others to overcome their problems. Be assured of your own happiness by helping others to be happy. Enjoy a peaceful life by chanting God’s name.
