ऐसा प्यार बहा दे मैया, चरणों से लग जाऊ मैं ।
सब अंधकार मिटा दे मैया, दरस तेरा कर पाऊं मैं

जग मैं आकर जग को मैया, अब तक न मैं पहचान सका
क्यों आया हूँ कहाँ है जाना, यह भी ना मै जान सका
तू है अगम अगोचर मैया, कहो कैसे लख पाऊं मैं

कर कृपा जगदम्बे भवानी, मैं बालक नादान हूँ
नहीं आराधन जप तप जानूं, मैं अवगुण की खान हूँ
दे ऐसा वरदान हे मैया, सुमिरन तेरा ग़ाऊ मैं

मै बालक तू माया मेरी, निष् दिन तेरी ओट है
तेरी कृपा से ही मिटेगी, भीतर जो भी खोट है
शरण लगा लो मुझ को मईया, तुझपे बलि बलि जाऊ मैं

Give me your Love, O Mother as I go through the steps of life. Dispel all darkness, O Mother.

Into this world I came which is of Your creation, up until now I have been unable to recognize Thee. Why have I come here where do I go? These I do not know, what I do know is that You are the first and foremost. Tell me Mother, how can I experience Thy glory?

Bestow Thy grace, O Jagadambe Bhavaani, I am Thy innocent child, unfortunate, for I am ignorant of prayers, japa, and tapa. Bless me with Thy gift that I may constantly experience Thee.

I am the child and you are my Mother, every day is of Thy creation. By Your grace and mercy, all my desires are fulfilled. I surrender myself to Thy lotus feet. Bestow Thy blessings on me Mother.
