उन और को नाम लियो ना लियो
कोई मांगे कंचन सी काया
कोई मांग रहा प्रभु से माया
कोई पुण्य करे, कोई दान करे
कोई दान का रोज बखान करे
जिन कन्या धन को दान दियो
उन और को दान दियो ना दियो
कोई घर में बैठा नमन करे
कोई हरि मंदिर में भजन करे
कोई गंगा यमुना स्नान करे
कोई काशी जाके ध्यान धरे
जिन मात पिता की सेवा की
उन तीर्थ स्नान किओ ना किओ
With Sri Raam firmly in our hearts, we need no other protection.
Some ask the Lord for wealth. Some even ask for the impossible, some distribute gifts of various kinds without attachments while some boast about their charity. And, some even traffic in persons. But, those who gave their hearts to the Lord are the greatest donors.
Some meditate at home and some sing His name in the mandirs. Some take baths in the holy rivers while some undertake pilgrimages. But, Sri Raam teaches that the greatest pilgrimage is the selfless service to parents. Such service is equivalent to having God within oneself.
