O Lord, you are my Mother and Father; you are my friend and companion.
You are our friend and Helper. There is no one else but you. You are the boat and even the captain who will take us across the sea of life.
Just like a flower that cannot blossom without the right season, so we too cannot find joy without your grace. We are like dust that will find a welcome seat at your feet. Have mercy on us O Lord, You are our Brother and Companion.
