प्रभु निराकार है
महिमा अपरंपार है
शरण में जो आएगा
उसका बेड़ा पार है
सूरज चांद बनाया उसने
तारे खूब सजाए हैं
हाथों बिना पहाड़ बनाए
सुंदर फूल खिलाए है
शुभ कर्मों से मानव का
यह सुंदर चोला पाया है
विषय विकार में फस करके
इसको दाग लगाया है
बुद्धि निर्मल करो हमारी
शरण तुम्हारी आते है
भक्ति का दो दिन हमें
शुद्ध से शीश झुकाते हैं
Tune – jiyaa bekraar hai
Our Almighty God is formless and invisible, and yet His powers are immeasurable and without limit. Those who come to His door will surely find shelter.
The Almighty has made the sun and moon. He has decorated the skies with the stars. He made the mountains without physical hands, and, He has decorated the world with beautiful flowers.
We have gotten our beautiful bodies due to past good deeds. But, we also have become stuck in illusions and thus degrade the beautiful body that he worked hard to earn.
O Lord make my intellect pure and divine. I come to Thy door for protection. I pray to Thee to grant me the blessing of Thy devotion and Love, and, I bow meekly to Thee.
प्रभु God निराकार formless, invisible महिमा Glory अपरंपार limitless शरण shelter आएगा comes उसका his, their बेड़ा raft, boar पार है is crossing सूरज sun चांद moon बनाया created, made उसने he तारे stars खूब plenty, innumerable सजाए beautifully decorated हाथों बिना without hands पहाड़ mountains बनाए made सुंदर beautiful फूल flowers खिलाए bloomed शुभ कर्मों good actions मानव humans सुंदर चोला beautiful body पाया found विषय विकार things of the world फस करके entangled इसको this दाग लगाया have stained बुद्धि intellect निर्मल purify हमारी our शरण shelter तुम्हारी you आते come भक्ति devotion दो दिन short time, two days शुद्ध pure शीश head झुकाते bow
