So greatly unique and charming in the relationship of mother and child that on one side of life, there could be the whole world, and on the other side there is Ma.

At one time, we are in our mother’s womb and at another time we are put into the world. One can take the full weight of a child for one moment, but Ma bore the full weight throughout her pregnancy. Ma’s love will always be unbendable, unbreakable – our Mother’s love never wavers even if she becomes bent with age.

In exchange for poison, a mother gives nectar to her child, always ready to replace sickness or death with love and life. Her loving words are better than the best jewelry No other relationship can compare to that with a Mother.

When her child goes astray, Ma’s mind becomes worried. Her tears flow like the combined might of the Yanuma and Ganges Rivers from each eye. Homage to Ma’s feet is like taking a pilgrimage to the four holiest sites.”]1

Dwaarikaadheesh (1956)

  1. The four pilgrimage sites are Badrinath, Dwarka, Puri, and Rameswaram. These are four sites with Hindu significance dating back as follows Badrinath-Satyug, Rameshwaram – TretaYug, Dwarka – DwaparYug and Puri – Kalyug.
