क्या है तेरी करम कहानी
पता लगा ले पड़े हैं कितने
दाग़ तेरे दामन में
देख ले दरपन में
मुखड़ा देख ले प्रानी …
ख़ुद को धोखा दे मत बन्दे,
अच्छे न होते कपट के धन्धे
सदा न चलता किसी का नाटक
दुनिया के आँगन में
देख ले दरपन में
मुखड़ा देख ले प्रानी …
Oh, you living ones, just for a moment look at your face in the mirror. Can you assess the good deeds you have done and estimate the sins you have committed?
Think seriously for a few moments. What is your real story? Do you really know how many dark spots there are in your life?
Do not be deceitful to yourself O man! This hypocritical attitude is not good. This drama of life will not last forever.
