याद न जाए बीते दिनों की

Memories of the past, the past days will not leave. The days that are gone will never return so why forget them? Why can my heart forgive them?

If the days were birds, I would keep them in a cage so that they would not fly by! I would tend to them with care/love, feed them pearls, and keep them close to my heart.

I could hide my companion’s picture anywhere I chose, but the one within my heart will never be erased however I may try. Even if she were to be for another, I cannot forget her.
