Om sajoor-devena savitraa sajoo-raatryendra-vatyaa.
Juṣhaano agnir-vetu svaahaa.11

  1. If Havan is done both morning and afternoon, then these Pradhaan Homa mantras are chanted only in Morning (and not in the afternoon). If havan is done once per day or less frequently, then these mantras are chanted along with the Ahitaagni mantras (below) – that is, whether havan is done in the morning or afternoon, if it is once a day or once a week, then both sets of mantras are chanted.
