Bhagavaan meree naiyaa usa paar lagaa denaa
Ab tak to nibhaayaa hai aage bhi nibhaa denaa
Dal bal ke saath maayaa ghere jo mujhko aakar
To dekhte naa rehnaa jhaṭ aa ke bachaa le naa
Sambhav hai jhanjhaṭo mè mài tumko bhool jaaòò
Par naath kahee tum bhee mujhko naa bhulaa naa
Tum dev mai pujaaree tum iṣhṭ mai upaasak
Ye baat hai sach yadi to sach karke diyaa denaa
Lord, please deliver this boat of life to safety across the river of difficulties. You have always kept me, Lord. Please continue to do so now.
There is illusion and ignorance that comes all around me with such force, but Lord, you have seen it all and can immediately save me.
Lord, even if I may forget you in my moments of worry, please do not ever forget me or leave me alone.
You are our God; I am just a devotee calling your name. You are our Lord, whom we adore, and I am just a worshipper. With this reality, please bless me with the vision to see you.
