Koee aata hai
Yòò taṛap ke na taṛpa
Mujhe baar baar koee aata hai
Uske daman kee khushboo hawaao me hai
Uske kadmo kee aahat phajaao me hai
Mujh ko karne de karne de solaa singar koee aata hai
Mujhko chhune lagee uskee parchhaaiyaa
Dil ke najdeek bajti hai shahnaaiyaa
Mere sapno ke aangan me gaataa hai pyar koee aata hai
Rooṭh ke pahle jee bhar sataaungee mai
Jab manaayenge wo maan jaaungee mai
Dil pe rahtaa hai aise me kab ikhtiyaar koee aata hai
Slow down your craving O restless heart. Someone is coming. Do not let your craving torment me.
His fragrance, his presence in the air, and the sound of his footsteps are all around. Let me beautify myself, someone is coming.
His shadow has started to touch me, the instruments play heartfelt music. In the courtyard, the dream of love sings. Someone is coming.
