Jis nar me aatmaa

Jis nar me aatmaa shakti hai
vo sheesh jhukaanaa kyaa jaane
Jis dil mè eeshvar bhakti hai
vo paap kamaanaa kyaa jaane

Maa baap kee sevaa karte hai,
unke dukho ko harate hai
Vo mathuraa, kaashee, haridvaar
vrindavan jaanaa kyaa jaane

Do kaal kare sandhya va havan,
nit satsang mè jo jaate hai
Bhagavaan kaa hai vishvaas jinhe,
dukh mè ghabraanaa kyaa jaane

Jo khel hai talvaaro see,
aur agni ke angaaro se
Raṇbhoomi mè jaa ke peechhe,
vo kadam uṭhaanaa kyaa jaane

Man mandir mè bhagavaan basaa
jo uskee jo poojaa kartaa hai
Mandir ke devataa par jaakar,
vo phool chaṛhaanaa kyaa jaane

That person who has soul-power, who has elevated himself, who could he bow to? What can a heart that is filled with devotion know of sin?

Can the person who serves his parents and removes their discomfort ever need to undertake a pilgrimage to holy places?

Can that person who does his sandhya and havan frequently, who worships God constantly, and who is confident of his elevation over sins – can that person ever tremble in the face of adversity?

The one who is fearless of weapons and embers of fire can rise and step into the battlefield.

He who has God constantly in his mind and frequently conducts his acts of worship and devotion – to what use is a special mandir with flowers?
