Sansaar ne jab

O Lord, after having been shunned by the niceties of this world, I come to Your door. While I may have never practiced my communions with you, you have always made me yours.

During my life, I was immersed in the intoxicating wealth of the world, and, I forgot about your grace and mercy. I wandered aimlessly in the world (of illusions), yet you never left me alone, O Lord.

My life was spent in slumber. I let the opportunities to worship you slip away. O Lord, when I was busy accumulating possessions, you attempted to wake me so many times.

In this world, everything belongs to you, but I lived as if everything was mine. Now that the time has come for my final exit, I helplessly regret the waste that I made of my life.
