Vedaa waale riṣhiyaa teree
koee nahee misaal
Ek too hai bemisaal dayaanand
Too ne kiyaa hai kamaal
Is duniyaa ne zahar ke pyaale
kitnee baar pilaaye
Too ne kaaṭe chunkar sab raaho
pe phool khilaaye
Tere satyaarth prakaash ne saare
man ke bhed miṭaaye
Ved maarg too ne dikhlaayaa
sabko kiyaa nihaal
Bigul kraanti kaa sabse pehle
too ne yahaȧ bajaayaa
Aur svaraaj kaa sabse pehle
tumne arth bataayaa
Tune riṣhiyȯ kee vaaṇee kaa
amrit hamė pilaayaa
Dekar gyaan kee jyoti sabko
tune kiyaa khushhaal
Tere pag chooṭe hee dharaa kee
maaṭee ho gayee “kanchan”
Tumko sau-sau namaskaar
tumko shat-shat hai vandan
Ham sab milkar aaryajan karte
teraa abhinandan
Gaate hai yash dasȯ dishaaye
dhartee gagan vishaal

O Mahrishi Dayanand, you are without equal. None can compare to you. You have done wonders for the world. You are the greatest Sage of the Vedas!
Oh! How many times has the world tried to poison you, to attack you, and to stop you? Yet, despite all the challenges, you delivered the Vedas to us. O Maharishi, you took the thorns from the world and made flowers bloom for everyone.
Your Satyarth Prakash erased all the superstitions and darkness and has yielded the secrets for purifying the mind. You showed everyone the path of the Vedas and brought the light of wisdom and happiness to a world filled with darkness of ignorance.
You were the first to lead such a social and national revolution, and you were the first to explain the importance of Swaraaj. You truly cared for your country and the world at large.
You gave us all the light of wisdom. You ensured that the world could willingly sip the nectar of the Vedas. Your sage voice of reason and wisdom was heard all around the world.
Alas, when you left us, we again became like dust on earth, losing our values. Our salutations to you, O Maharishi Dayanand. Infinite salutations to you.
The noble people of the world greet you humbly, O Maharishi Dayanand. And in our greetings and salutations, the earth, the vast space, and all of creation – from all directions – bow to you and sing your praise.
