Yagyamai jeevan ko saphal jo kar gaye
Vo agam sansaar saagar tar gaye
Svaarth aur nirog tan man ban gayaa
Rok shoukaadi kinaaraa kar gayaa
Dharma jeevan hai banaataa yagya se
Paap rupee paat saare jahar gaye
Dev-poojan se mil sukh sampadaa
Shaanti aur sukh ke khajaane bhar gayaa
Kaam krodhaadi bhee raaghav ke sabhee
Doṣh saare ho sabhee baahar gaye
O man, do cross over the ocean of life by living a life of sacrifices.
Become clean and pure and healthy in thought and actions. Place all problems and illnesses aside and become pure.
Righteous living is only possible through sacrifices (yajyas). Let your sins drop away from you like leaves dropping from a tree.
By worshiping God and observing His powers, you can get happiness. Through His worship, wealth, happiness, and peace are all yours.
Everyone is entangled in lust and anger, etc. But, O man, cross over the ocean of life by ridding yourself of all blame (dosh), i.e., cleanse your mind of the attachment of things that bother you – and be pure.
