Lagaa do kinaare Ise mere bhavavan
Karuṇaa ke saagar dayaa ke ho daataa
Tumhee jag ke paalak tumhee ho vidhaataa
Ye soyaa hai maanav ise tum jagaavo

Mai path se giroȯ to mujhe thaam lenaa
Dayaa karke satgyaan dete hee rahnaa
Jo sacchaa hai maarag use tum dikhaa do

Daras do baṛaa hogaa ahsaas tumhaaraa
Bhaṭaktaa hee rahtaa kee manvaa hamaaraa
Ise vash mė karne kee shakti bataa do

O my dear Lord, I offer my life to your service and worship. I set aside everything to engage in your devotion.
You are the ocean of compassion, our merciful God. You are the creator as well as the guardian and caretaker of the entire world. Through your grace and mercy my slumber can be cast aside and I can be reawakened.
O Merciful Lord, you always prevent me from drifting off the noble path. Through your grace and kindness, I am blessed with the wisdom to choose the path of virtue that you allow me to see.
O Lord, this boat of life depends fully on your mercy for me to cross safely. Please save me from perishing and drowning in sins. The success of my entire life is totally dependent on your Grace and Mercy and Bliss.
I give you my devotion and my gratitude, O Lord. Please bless me with the power to control my wandering mind so that I can focus and meditate on your Glory.
