अति धन्यवाद परमेश्वर का यह सुन्दर अवसर आया
है जन्म-दिवस इस बालक का जो उत्सव आज मनाया है
ईश्वर-विश्वासी सत्यवादी वेदों का यह अनुयायी हो
दिन-रात फले-फूले निरोग हो सुन्दर इस्की काया हो
विश्वानो का सम्मान करे गुरु मात-पिता का सेवक हो
दुखियो के दुःख दूर करे जो वेदों ने बतलाया है
सदग्रंथ पढ़े सदाचरण करे जीवन में ज्योति जगा रहे
यशा कीर्ति अमर होवे इसकी आवे न मान मद माया है
शुभ गुण संपन्न बने बालक है आशीर्वाद यही सबका
सबको सुखदायक सदा रहे जो गीत वेद ने गया है
Many thanks to God for this great occasion today. This birthday for our child is a most joyous occasion.
This devotee is dedicated and educated. May s/he be happy night and day. May s/he always be healthy and beautiful.
Be always in the company of the wise; be always devoted to your parents. Always help the needy. This is the advice of the Vedas.
Let the light of wisdom always glow in you. Read good books and exhibit good actions. May your name and fame spread through your good actions. Do not be immersed in lust and illusion.
May you always get the best. This is our blessing to you. May you always be pleasant to everyone. This is the message of the Veda.
