जीवन का धन गवा न देना
लूट मची है लुटा न देना
जाल बिछाकर पाँच शिकारी
रोके बैठे राह तुम्हारी
छिपी है चाले उनकी चाल में
इस माया के जगत जाल में
खुद को फिर से फसा न देना
कर्म हीं ये जोश जवानी
है तेरी कमज़ोर कहानी
अंधकार के इस कोई में
जोश जवानी के जोई में
जीती बाजी हरा ने देना
जिसने तन और प्राण दिए है
जीने के सामान दिए है

दीन दयालु उस दाता को
भूल में परकर भुला न देना

Don’t waste your life behind the material things that can be stolen away. Do not steal from your own self – do not steal what can be stolen from you.
Five hunters (your senses, or the five elements of kaama, krodha, lobh, moh, ahankaar, that is desire/lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego) are always setting a trap for you. They are disguised in their guile and trickery. In this world of illusion, do not entrap yourself, and do not fall prey to these hunters.
The ardor of youth is filled with desire and inexcusable actions along with weak excuses. One can easily fall into the darkness of temptation without realizing the grave repercussions. One may feel like he is winning, but in reality, he is losing his own soul.
Let us remember that Giver, the One who gave us life and all the stuff of life. Let us be humble and grateful for this life. Do not even accidentally forget your gratitude for God.
