Laajaa-Ahuti – Offering of parched grains
The bride offers parched grains into the fire:
ओं भागाया स्वाहा ॥
इदं भागाया इदन्न मम ॥1
Om bhaagaaya svaahaa.
Idam bhaagaaya idanna mama.
I make this oblation and pray for good fortune.
Prajaapatya-ahuti:
Bride and Groom offer ghee into the fire:
ओं प्रजापतये स्वाहा ॥
इदं प्रजापतये इदन्न मम ॥2
Om prajaa-pata-ye svaahaa.
Idam prajaapataye idanna mama.
This oblation is made in adoration of the Great Lord of the universe. We ask for your blessings, O Lord.
Final oblations
The final offerings are made, three times:
ओं सर्वं वै पूर्णं स्वाहा॥
Om sarvam vai poornam svaahaa.
