There is one God (Sikhism)

This verse is the opening of the Mul Mantar of the Guru Granth Sahib, and the first composition of Guru Nanak. It emphasizes the singularity of the Almighty and the verse denotes that there in One God who is incomparable to any other.

ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ,
ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ.

एक ओमकार सतनाम करता पुरखु,
निरभउ निरवैरु अकाल मूरति
अजूनी सैभं गुरप्रसादि ॥

Ek onkaar satnaam kartaa purakha
nirmoha nirveha akaala moorat ajunee shubham

One Universal creator God, The supreme Unchangeable Truth, The Creator of the Universe, Beyond Fear, Beyond Hatred, Beyond Death, Beyond Birth, Self-Existent, by the Guru’s Grace.
