He makes the dumb speak

This verse is from the Gita Dhyaanam, a Sanskrit poem of nine verses, usually sung at the commencement of a Bhagavad Gita recitation.

मूकं करोति वाचालं पङ्गुं लङ्घयते गिरिं
यत्कृपा तमहं वन्दे परमानन्द माधवम्

Mookam karoti vaachaalam
paṅggum laṅgghayate girim.
Yat-kripaa tamaham vande
paramaananda maadhavam.

(I Remember with Devotion the Divine Grace of Krishna Who can make the) Dumb speak with Eloquence and the Lame cross high Mountains; I contemplate on and extol that Grace which flows from the Supreme Bliss manifestation of Madhava.

मूकं speechless, dumb करोति make, also – which brings वाचालम् eloquent speaker, fluent speaker पङ्गुं lame, unable to walk लङ्घयते to cross over लङ्घ leap, traverse over गिरिम् mountains, obstacles यत् that कृपा mercy तमहम् I extol His वन्दे I praise (I bow upon/I salute) परमानन्द Supreme, highest bliss and blessing माधवम् name of Lord Krishna, also, the highest Universal Secret attainable only through meditation
